On November 12, 2024, Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Azimov Ahmed Sakhratulayevich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Russian Federation Boumediene Guennad held a working meeting at the Algerian Embassy in Moscow.
During the meeting, current issues of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Algeria were discussed, in particular ways to eliminate existing barriers and strengthen business ties. The parties agreed to work together in this direction and pointed out the need to develop a direct dialogue between the business communities, which will allow them to more effectively resolve emerging issues and find new opportunities for cooperation. Boumediene Guennad also expressed readiness to provide full support to the activities of the Russian-Algerian Business Council, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral partnership and maintaining economic ties between the two countries.
