Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, Algeria's Minister of Housing, announced that the country will complete the construction of 250,000 housing units in 2025.
Belaribi noted that Algeria plans to build 2 million housing units over the next five years and has achieved self-sufficiency in the production of cement, concrete, iron, and ceramics. He added that since 2020, 1.7 million homes have been built and distributed among Algerians, all constructed using Algerian building materials and by Algerian engineers.
