Algerian Cybersecurity Seminar: Russian Technologies in the Spotlight at LINKS’2025

On June 22, 2025, Algiers hosted the second strategic seminar LINKS’2025, focused on cybersecurity in the banking, insurance, and telecommunications sectors. The event was organized by the scientific center CERIST with the support of the Russian-Algerian Business Council (RABC) and participation of leading companies from Russia and Algeria, including Positive Technologies.

The seminar was part of the LINKS initiative (Local Innovation for National Key Sectors), aimed at strengthening the digital resilience of Algeria’s critical infrastructure. During LINKS’2025, participants discussed current cyber threats and challenges, while presenting concrete solutions to protect financial and telecom systems.

The seminar underscored the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in the face of rapidly growing cyber threats. Positive Technologies presented solutions and expertise adapted to the needs of Algerian partners and strategic sectors of the economy.

This event follows the Memorandum of Understanding between Positive Technologies and CERIST, signed in April 2025 with the support of RABC. More details about the agreement can be found on the RABC website.

The Russian-Algerian Business Council continues to support initiatives that promote technological collaboration between the two countries, contributing to sustainable digital transformation and technological sovereignty in Algeria.
