Algerian President Tebboune has reshuffled the country's government

The President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune has reshuffled the Cabinet of Ministers. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of the North African state, Samir Argun.

Monday afternoon, the Algerian leader met with Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui. It is noted that the President of Algeria accepted the resignation of the government announced after the regular presidential elections.

According to Laguna, the President of the Republic reiterated "his confidence in Nadir Larbaoui and asked him to continue fulfilling his duties." Most of the former leaders also retained their positions in the new cabinet.

According to information disseminated by the office of the Algerian leader, the Ministers of Justice, education, information, culture, transport, industry, tourism, youth and sports, post and telecommunications lost their positions. The Chief of the General Staff of the Algerian Armed Forces, Saïd Chengriha, as specified, received in addition to his duties the position of minister at the Ministry of National Defense of the republic (the head of the department is concurrently the President of the country).

In addition, the position called Minister of State has been added to some heads of departments in addition to their previous posts. In particular, Foreign Ministers Ahmed Attaf

and Energy and Mining Minister Mohamed Arkab became Ministers of State. The Ministry of Trade was divided into two departments: the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, as well as the Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Control.

The presidential elections in People's Democratic Republic of Algeria were held on September 7. The current head of state, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, was confidently re-elected for a second term, gaining 94.65% of the votes.
