During the meeting, the strategic importance of Algeria as a key partner for Russia in Africa was emphasized. Issues related to the implementation of the Declaration on Enhanced Strategic Partnership, signed last year by the leaders of the two states, were discussed.
Ahmed Azimov reported on the outcomes of the most recent Council meeting held in a roundtable format on November 21, 2024, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and presented the resolution adopted as a result.
As part of the meeting, the Head of the Council conveyed the business community's request for assistance in lifting the visa regime for business representatives, which could facilitate business contacts and promote the expansion of economic cooperation.
