On 20 April 2026, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will host the round table “Russia–Algeria: Pharmaceuticals and Medical Technologies”, organized by the Russian-Algerian Business Council under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, with информаational support from Russian Business Guide media group.
The event is dedicated to strengthening bilateral cooperation in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and medical technologies.
Algeria is one of Russia’s key partners in Africa and represents a promising market with steady demand for pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, diagnostic solutions, and advanced technological developments. This creates significant opportunities for expanding Russian exports, localizing production, and launching joint investment projects.
The round table agenda will focus on the following topics:
— entry of Russian companies into the Algerian and African markets;
— development of mutual supplies of pharmaceutical and medical products;
— localization of production and establishment of joint ventures;
— technology transfer and implementation of innovative solutions;
— launch and support of investment projects.
A representative Algerian delegation, including officials from профильные government institutions and business circles, will take part in the event.
Following the official session, B2B and B2G meetings with Algerian participants will be held.
