On 22 June 2025, Algiers hosted the second strategic seminar LINKS’2025, dedicated to cybersecurity in the banking, insurance and telecommunications sectors. The event was organized by the research center CERIST with the support of the Russia–Algeria Business Council (RABC) and participation of leading companies from Russia and Algeria, including Positive Technologies.

The seminar formed part of the broader LINKS — Local Innovation for National Key Sectors — initiative aimed at strengthening the digital resilience of Algeria’s critical industries. During LINKS’2025, participants examined current threats and challenges in the field of information security and presented practical solutions to protect the country’s financial and telecommunications infrastructure.

The event highlighted the importance of international cooperation and knowledge-sharing amid the rapid escalation of cyber threats. Positive Technologies showcased their solutions and expertise tailored to the needs of Algerian partners and key strategic sectors of the economy.

The seminar followed the Memorandum of Understanding between Positive Technologies and CERIST, signed in April 2025 with the support of the RABC.

The Russia–Algeria Business Council continues to support initiatives aimed at expanding technological cooperation between the two countries, contributing to Algeria’s sustainable digital transformation and technological sovereignty.
