On 14 November 2025, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, S. N. Katyrin, received the Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council (RABC), A. Azimov.

A. Azimov reported on the results of his visit to Algeria, highlighting key meetings with the leadership of relevant ministries, dialogue with business associations, and the promotion of Russian companies’ interests within the REC business mission conducted with the support of the RABC and the Russian Trade Mission in Algeria.

S. N. Katyrin highly praised the work carried out, emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership ties with Algeria, and expressed readiness to support the Council’s further initiatives aimed at expanding the presence of Russian businesses in the Algerian market.
