On 15 April 2026, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Russian-Algerian Business Council under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and JSC Rusnano, focusing on opportunities for the joint promotion of Russian high-tech solutions in the Algerian and North African markets.

The Council was represented at the meeting by Ahmed Azimov, Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council, Anton Shcherbakov, Executive Director of the Council, and Noureddine Ziouani, representative of Algerian business. JSC Rusnano was represented by Dmitry Tarasov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rusnano Management Company LLC, and Olga Zhilenko, Member of the Board of Directors of RusnanoTechInvest LLC.

The parties discussed five priority areas of the fund’s investment activity and identified the most promising points of synergy with the Algerian economy.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct a joint review of JSC Rusnano’s technology portfolio, select projects relevant to the Algerian market, and develop a strategy for their promotion.
