Interfax reported on a roundtable held in Moscow on 21 October 2026 to discuss developing Russia–Africa cooperation.
Ahmed Azimov, Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council, encouraged Russian companies to invest in local production, open offices, and hire and train staff in Algeria.
He noted Algerian partners’ willingness to invest and share risks when technology is transferred and production localized. Participants also considered project financing, agricultural technologies and specialist training.
