Kamel Rezig, Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, received Ahmed Azimov, Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of economic and trade relations between Algeria and Russia, as well as ways to further strengthen them, including by stimulating mutual trade and expanding direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

Special attention was paid to the prospects for developing cooperation between Algerian and Russian economic operators, making use of available opportunities across various sectors, and expanding the participation of companies in exhibitions, economic forums and trade events held in both countries.

The parties noted that such work would contribute to the promotion of national products, open up new opportunities for partnership, and further develop trade exchange between Algeria and Russia.
