The international educational programme Positive Hack Camp 2026 is underway in Moscow, bringing together early-career cybersecurity specialists from 20 countries, including Algeria. The programme is organised by Positive Technologies and Positive Education with the support of Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development and runs from 25 July to 9 August.
Participants will attend 30 practical sessions covering real-world cyberattack scenarios. More than 800 applications were submitted in 2026, with over 80 specialists selected for the programme.
The opening ceremony was attended by Russian Deputy Minister of Digital Development Alexander Shoitov and Algeria’s Ambassador to Russia, Toufik Djouama. The Algerian diplomat noted that the participation of specialists from his country contributes to stronger Russia-Algeria relations in cybersecurity.
Joint training initiatives can provide a foundation for further cooperation between Russian and Algerian technology companies, universities and specialised organisations in protecting digital infrastructure, exchanging expertise and developing professional capabilities.
