RT: Russia and Algeria Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Cybersecurity Cooperation
Russian company Positive Technologies and Algerian company EPE PROXYLAN SPA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of information and cybersecurity.
The two parties intend to collaborate on research and educational initiatives, exchange expertise, develop cybersecurity infrastructure, and organize activities aimed at improving the resilience of digital environments.
In this context, Ahmed Azimov, Chairman of the Russia–Algeria Business Council, emphasized that there are numerous digital domains in which Russia and Algeria can cooperate — foremost among them cybersecurity, the development of smart cities, and the implementation of e-government systems, where Russian experience is considered among the world’s most advanced.
