On March 31, 2026, the Russia–Algeria Business Council under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation held a webinar focused on practical aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies.
The event was organized as part of the preparation for the Russian business mission to Algeria (April 20–24, 2026), aligned with ICT Africa Summit — one of the leading technology events on the African continent.
More than 25 Russian companies took part in the webinar, demonstrating strong interest in entering the Algerian and broader African markets.
The webinar covered:
— opportunities and key trends in the Algerian ICT market;
— demand for Russian solutions, including cybersecurity, AI, and fintech;
— market entry specifics and engagement with public and private sectors;
— available export support instruments;
— practical formats of participation in ICT Africa Summit, including the joint Russian stand.

During the session, Algerian speakers outlined key priorities in digital transformation, including cybersecurity, data centers, fintech, and digital infrastructure, and highlighted key requirements for foreign companies — localization, partnership with local players, and long-term market presence.
The Russian Export Center presented available support instruments for companies expanding to international markets, as well as practical recommendations for participation in international events.
The webinar confirmed strong demand for Russian technological solutions and readiness of Algerian partners to develop joint projects.
