The Russian-Algerian Business Council at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation is organizing a Russian business mission to Oran, Algeria, from 5 to 7 October 2026 as part of the international oil, gas and energy exhibition NAPEC 2026.

Algeria is one of Russia’s key partners in North Africa and one of the region’s largest energy markets. The country is implementing large-scale development programmes in the oil and gas sector, electric power and industrial infrastructure. Particular attention is being paid to local production, technological development and expanded cooperation with international partners, creating additional opportunities for Russian equipment manufacturers, technology developers, engineering firms and service companies.

NAPEC is one of the leading oil, gas and energy platforms in Africa and the Mediterranean. It brings together government authorities, national companies, major industrial enterprises, EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers and technology providers.

Participation in the business mission will enable Russian companies to establish direct contact with relevant customers and prospective partners in Algeria, hold substantive negotiations and identify concrete opportunities for equipment and technology supplies, pilot projects, local production and joint ventures.

The business mission programme will include

  • participation in the NAPEC 2026 business programme;
  • meetings with the leadership of relevant Algerian ministries and government agencies;
  • negotiations with the management of Sonatrach, Sonelgaz and other major national customers;
  • targeted B2B and B2G meetings with prospective partners and customers;
  • discussions on specific projects, supplies, pilot solutions, local production and joint ventures;
  • site visits and meetings at relevant enterprises and production facilities.

For each company, the Russian-Algerian Business Council will prepare an individual meeting programme based on its business profile, proposed technologies and solutions, and specific objectives in the Algerian market.

The Council will provide organizational and interpreting support for the delegation, visa assistance, help in establishing contacts with relevant government bodies and companies, and coordination of participants’ work in Algeria.

To join the business mission, companies should submit a brief profile describing their products, technologies and capabilities, together with their priority areas for cooperation and prospective partners in Algeria.
