Entrepreneurs from Dagestan met executives and representatives of Algerian companies Sarl Algeria Gaztech Company and Sunalgaz at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Dagestan on 23 September. Dagestan was represented by Uniservice LLC, Elektrosnab LLC, Elektrosvyaz JSC and sole proprietor M. I. Kirsov.
The participants discussed the possibility of building a solar power plant, an electrical transformer factory and a household electrical appliance factory in Dagestan.
Other topics included medical tourism to Dagestan, study opportunities for Algerian citizens at universities in the republic, and a direct air route between Makhachkala and Algiers.
According to the chamber, the Algerian delegation’s programme in Dagestan was scheduled to continue through 25 September. Its report did not announce any signed agreements or project launches.
