On May 14, 2026, within the framework of the International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2026”, the Russian-Algerian Business Council under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the International Assembly of Islamic Business (IAIB) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The document was signed by IAIB President Marat Kabaev and Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council under the CCI of the Russian Federation Ahmed Azimov.

The Memorandum is aimed at developing international business cooperation, expanding trade and investment interaction, and strengthening ties with partners from the Islamic world.

The parties agreed to develop cooperation in the field of business events, business missions, joint projects support, and the promotion of international initiatives.
