The Russian-Algerian Business Council at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing interaction between the business, expert and political communities of Russia and Algeria.

The document was signed by Ahmed Azimov, Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council, and Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

The agreement provides for the development of international communication platforms, the strengthening of business ties between companies of the two countries, and support for cooperation in investment and finance, foreign trade, tourism and culture. The parties also agreed to provide advisory and expert support, exchange information, and jointly organize forums, conferences, exhibitions and business events.

The signing of the agreement strengthens the institutional framework of the Russian-Algerian business dialogue and contributes to the development of practical cooperation within the strategic partnership between Russia and Algeria.
